Concert Update

“A Classic Irish Christmas” was held on December 15^th 2006. A big thanks to President-elect Paul Collom for all his hard work. Ed would be proud!! An update will be presented at the January meeting. Thanks also to #1 ticket selling duo, the Bonners!!

Christmas Decoration at St Pat’s

The decorations went up on December 16^th and were taken down on January 6^th. Once again, the Church looked beautiful for the Christmas Season. A big help were the members who pitched in, plus the youth that donated their time to help out. Thank you all!!

The Chowders sang for Fr. Duffy on November 26^th, reporting that a good time was had by all. There was also an upcoming event on December 13^th at the Clintonaire Nursing Center. For all those interested in singing, see Don Mulrenin at the meeting or show up at their practice on the 1^st Tuesday of the month, at the Gaelic League.

St Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshall

For the second year in a row, the Grand Marshall of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a Brother FOUI!! Congratulations to Curtis Anderson. You are a great Ambassador for the FOUI’s!!

New FOUI Website

There is a new FOUI website to keep us all connected and up to date with all that is going on with the FOUI’s. Go to detroitfoui.org for all the latest info on meetings and upcoming events. A link to the newsletter will also be available in the near future. Stay tuned.

Internal/External Raffle

A need was expressed at the December meeting for 2 volunteers to help with the Raffles. Any one interested should see Tree Trimmer, Paul Doulette at the next meeting

Congratulations are in order for Brother FOUI and friend, Joe Doulette. Joe was recently promoted to the rank of Commander in the Dearborn Police Department. Way to go, Joe!
